Updated August 1, 2026. This policy describes how The Daily Bowl handles information submitted through this website and our customer email.

What we collect and why

When you ask a question, we collect your name, email, message and the product you ask about. For pickup orders, we also collect your phone number, selected items, order total and status. For delivery requests, we collect your municipality, postal code, preferred date and shopping list. For grooming and monthly box requests, we collect the pet details, preferences, budget and service information you choose to provide. We use this information to answer you, prepare quotes, arrange services and manage your order.

Where information is handled

Our website runs on Cloudflare infrastructure. Submitted requests and orders are stored in our website database. Customer email is handled through Migadu. These providers may process information outside Canada under their service arrangements. Authorized store management can access customer submissions.

Browser storage and technical information

The shopping bag uses local browser storage, and order submission uses session storage to reduce duplicate orders. Store management sign-in uses authentication provided by the hosting platform. Hosting providers may process technical logs, including IP addresses, for service operation and security. We do not add advertising trackers or behavioural analytics to this website.

Choices and retention

We do not use an inquiry or pickup order to subscribe you to marketing. We keep information as needed to handle your request, operate the store and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion; some transaction records may need to be retained.

Payments and external links

We do not collect payment-card details online. Please do not include sensitive information in a message. Manufacturer and map links take you to third-party websites with their own privacy practices.
